Are you a business angel looking for exciting opportunities that make a difference?

Contribute to the sustainable solutions that make the food industry 'future-proof' and prepare it for the European Green Deal objectives of 2030? Invest in solutions that make a difference in the world in which your children and grandchildren grow up?

Active in the food industry or food service? Curious about which applications will give your company a competitive advantage? Also looking for products or services that use innovative techniques to process food? Or rather to improve the functionalities of food ingredients?

Then Foodtech might offer the solution. For example, for the food industry there are 3D printing solutions, encapsulation technology for certain ingredients, industrial-scale robot solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI) for optimising your sales forecasting, etc.

In the field of food service, there are solutions such as food delivery, smart kitchen technology or consumer apps.

What is foodtech

Foodtech is a collective name for 8 domains that affect the entire food chain:

the primary sector (agriculture)

also called agritech –

a range of technological developments that support our farmers.

the secondary sector or food industry

the food processing technologies (robotization, AI applications, 3D printing, ...) and NXT generation food & drinks (plant-based, cell-based, alternative proteins, functional foods, insect products, ...)

the tertiary or service sector

… world of food delivery (ghost kitchens, dark stores, D2C, …), smart equipment (for food service & consumer), consumer apps & applications, food safety & traceability solutions (blockchain…) to tackling and preventing food waste.
